Siemens PLM Software is a business unit of Siemens, specializing in product lifecycle management software called Teamcenter.

Overview

I was hired by Siemens as a product software consultant. One of my first projects was leading a team building manufacturing workflows that would be a predesigned solution for manufacturing installations.

Challenges

  • The other two team members did not get along with each other.
  • All of us were new to PLM software and had only a basic understanding of Teamcenter at this point.

Solutions

  • We built an automated manufacturing workflow setup that would be part of a predesigned solution. This would allow for easily deployement at customer sites.
