Bostik Competitive Analysis
Bostik is an adhesives company that provides products across a wide range of technologies.
Bostik was looking to improve their social media presence as well as their brand positioning. I performed a UX competitive analysis on three of their competitors.
- Segmenting the users can be an effective means of showing them what they need/want.
- Many of these sites overloaded their users with very busy, text laden, and link overloaded screens.
- Utilizing imagery really engages users.
- Ad and banner blindness can cause users to miss important calls to action.
- Videos, articles, and photos illustrating how-to and DIY projects can be very powerful for user engagement.
